Picture this a beautiful sunny day, your family is enjoying an afternoon of snowmobiling, loading and unloading at our Clubhouse, when all of a sudden a snowmobiler going to fast and being careless just about hits your 5 year old daughter getting into your truck!
Our second scenario, One of our Club Volunteers driving into the Clubhouse to bring in supplies for our members (ie, hot chocolate, coffee etc) and a careless snowmobiler runs him off the road into the CLUBHOUSE. He then had to be towed out of the ditch, he went in the ditch to AVOID hitting a snowmobiler!
THIS HAPPENED AT THE CLUBHOUSE THIS WEEKEND!!!!!!!! Snowmobile trails are 50 KM/HR. Careless snowmobilers can cost not only our members but also endanger the lives of themselves and our Members.
THIS IS A WARNING! WE HAVE GIVEN THE “FAST ZONES” TO OUR LOCAL POLICE TO CATCH AND TICKET CARELESS AND IGNORANT SNOWMOBILERS!
Save lives! Trails are 50 km/hour with 2 exceptions on our KOC Trail where speeds are reduced to 20km/hr. Our Club encourages families to come and spend time at our clubhouse, how would you feel if your son/daughter was just about hit just outside of the door of the Clubhouse.
Club VOLUNTEERS PUT IN COUNTLESS HOURS to this CLUB to have snowmobile trails. It only takes a few to ruin it for the rest. If excessive speed contines, our new trail to the CLUBHOUSE WILL BE CLOSED!! FIRST AND FINAL WARNING!
